Cancellation Policy

(1) All the cancellations must be communicated in writing.

(2) The token amount is nonrefundable in any case.

(3) Cancellations made 15 Days before the travel date will attract cancellation charges.

(4) Cancellations charges will vary from 25 % – 50% of the total tour package cost.

(5) 100 % Retention charges will be levied for bookings canceled within 15 days of the travel date or

(6) No show scenarios.

(7) No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry ticket, permits or any other HH services.

(8) Himalayans Holiday has the right to cancel your Invoice due to insufficient Advance Amount i.e. 70% of the total tour Package Cost.

(9) In case, clients are suspected of indulging in any kind of illegal activity or violent behavior, Himalayans Holiday will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.

Itinerary of Tour

  • Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
  • Gangtok, the captivating capital city of Sikkim, is somewhere like a lost kingdom, seeking the attention of travellers from around the world. Hardly explored by travellers; Gangtok proves to be one destination that is rich in history, culture and scenic beauty. An important trade centre between India and China for a long time; it is today a busy administrative and business centre and presents an interesting mix of cultures and communities. Major Attractions: Twin Waterfalls, Seven Sisters Waterfall, Singhik View Point
Early morning ride to Lachen from Gangtok. While the journey visit other tourist attractions like Twin Waterfalls, Seven Sisters Waterfall, Singhik View Point and others. Lunch at a local restaurant on the way to the destination.Check in at the hotel during late afternoon. Overnight stay at Lachen.

  • Major Attractions: Gurudongmar Lake
    Early Morning drive to Early morning ride to Thangu (13,500ft, 31kms from Lachen). Visit Chopta Valley (13,200ft) which is very rich in alpine vegetation. Drive towards Gurudongmar Lake (17,800ft) (applicable only for Indian Nationality people). Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest situated lakes in North Sikkim. Remember the altitude here may cause breathing problem. After the trip return back to hotel & leave for Lachung (8,610ft, 60kms from Lachen). After reaching Lachung check in a hotel and an overnight stay at Lachung.
  • The best time to visit Gurudongmar Lake is from November to June. A visit to Gurudongmar Lake requires a permit as it is located close to the Indo-Tibetan border. There is a paucity of oxygen at such a height, and thus, staying there for more than an hour is not recommended for most tourists.
Major Attractions: Yumthang Valley (Valley of Flowers) Early morning drive to Yumthang Valley, which is an Alpine flower valley in North Sikkim. Enjoy the scenic landscape and Hot spring and drive back to Lachung for Lunch. Overnight stay at Gangtok Yumthang Valley is a paradise on earth, which is full of natural wonders and picturesque beauty. It is home to a zillion flowers, spectacular mountains & a serene river, and is often also called as the ‘Yumthang Valley of flowers’

Major Attractions: Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir
Get ready for an exciting day today! Start the early morning at around 8 am to reach the pristine Tsomgo Lake located at an elevation of 3750 m and is around 3-hour drive from Gangtok. It is an irresistible waterbody which owes its charm to the snow-covered mountains and wildflowers in its surroundings. It is considered sacred by Hindus as well as Buddhists. In winter it gets frozen and in spring it comes back to life with blooming flowers in its surroundings. After enjoying yourself at the Lake, drive to Baba Harbhajan Mandir which is dedicated to a brave Indian soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh who sacrificed his life while performing his duty. After completing the excursion, go back to the hotel in Gangtok. Remaining day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

  • After a delicious breakfast, Drive towards Pelling (7,200ft, 115kms from Gangtok, around 6 hours).Overnight stay at Pelling.
Major Attractions: Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls, Pemayangtse Monastery, New Helipad Ground. After breakfast, go for sightseeing. 1st Half tour – Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In the afternoon, the 2nd half tour – Pemayangtse Monastery, and the New Helipad Ground. Overnight stay at Pelling.
  • After a healthy breakfast amidst the nature drive towards Kalimpong (4,100ft,) and go for sightseeing covering Army Golf course, Durpin Monastery, Pine view nursery, Mangal Dham, Delo Hill. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
  • After a hearty breakfast drive to Darjeeling (7,200ft, 50 kms) from Kalimpong for the final leg of the tour.Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
  • Major Attractions: Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery, the Batasia Loop, covering The Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre,Tea Gardens.
    Wake up early in the morning (3:30am) to witness the sunrise from Tiger Hill (2,590 meters/13 KM/45 min). On the way back, visit the famous Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. Proceed for half day city tour around Darjeeling covering The Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday close), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Thursday close), Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), outer view of Tea Garden (Chitrey) and Tenzing Rock.
  • Major Attractions: Mirik/ Sumendu Lake, tea gardens and orange orchards.
    After breakfast drive to Mirik (4,900 ft.), via Indo-Nepal Border (Extra vehicle charges will be applicable for Nepal Border to Pasupati Market). The drive is through scenic roads with occasional stoppage for photography. Mirik is known for manmade Sumendu Lake in center surrounded by pine trees and its landscaped tea gardens and orange orchards. Return to Darjeeling in the evening and overnight stay.
  • Drop to Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station according to the schedule.
